Thanks to its versatile characteristics Siplex® Touch is the perfect upgrading for touch-screen sysems. Depending on customer requirements, after lamination with Siplex® Touch, the touch screen is not only highly robust and durable and therefore suitable for use in the fields of mechanical engineering and food areas – because of the use of thermal toughened, chemically hardened or laminated glass it is also extremely impact-resistant or resistant to breakage (by a factor of 3 to 5 compared with untreated glass).

In addition, the Siplex® Touch lamination permanently protects the sensitive touch-screen technology from water and steam, as well as dust and scratches.

Siplex® Touch is available in individual coating levels for touch-screen lamination:

• If required, with UV/IR protection
• Stepped constructions for flush-mounting in monitor housings without dirt-collecting edges are possible
• Laminated glass as glass/glass or as glass/film touch-screen system
• Optical Bonding with highly transparent, non-yellowing adhesive layer
• Provision of additional view-protection filter possible
• Edge treatment: ground or polished, openings e.g. for USB sticks, surface recesses for sliders and depressions for
  customer-friendly operation
• Screen printing: digital with illumination of functions, border illumination, vanishing printing, with conventional organic
  or ceramic printing
