Over time, ultraviolet radiation bleaches out the colours. As well as this, the heat-producing effect of infra red radiation has a negative effect on the liquid crystals and considerably reduces the life of the screens.
Siplex® Solar Control Ultra and Siplex® Solar Protect optimally protect your displays against this, both indoors and outdoors. Due to the combination with special heat absorbing plastic films, these glasses prevent unwanted radiation effects without producing annoying reflections, and at the same time have high transmission levels (T>93%) in the visible wavelength range.
In addition, Siplex® laminated safety glass is unbreakable and splinter-free according to EN 12543, so that your displays are effectively protected against vandalism.
If required, Siplex® can be supplied as impact resistant as per DIN 18032.
